Full-Service Interior Design & Workshop Consultations

Sucher Studios is a Chicago-based interior design studio known for expressive, highly personal interiors and an unexpected approach to color, material, and form. With more than 16 years of experience, Jennifer sucher brings both a seasoned design perspective and a deep understanding of what it takes to guide a project from its earliest ideas through completion.

Her work is rooted in the belief that a home should feel deeply personal rather than prescribed. She brings together vintage and contemporary pieces, rich color, natural materials, and distinctive details to create interiors that feel collected over time, balancing beauty and function with a sense of playfulness and individuality.

Just as important as the design itself is the process behind it. Jennifer thoughtfully assembles and leads the right team for each project, collaborating closely with clients, architects, contractors, makers, and artisans to carry a shared vision through every phase. Her approach brings clarity and intention to a complex process while protecting the creativity that makes each project unique.

Part of why this basement revamp was such a success is because Sucher didn’t try to pretend the room was something else. “The goal wasn’t to keep it light and bright,” she shares. “We leaned into the moodiness. We weren’t afraid to play with contrast and color.”

For Sucher, slightly green undertones make blue feel aged and lived-in; orange tempers pink’s nursery associations; rusty brown makes burgundy less jewel-like; and yellow gives green warmth.
